Marjorie Peters--owner

Marjorie speaks the language of sewing, having taken up the craft in her pre-teens. She’s a self-proclaimed fabric-aholic (who’s not interested in a cure), and hand-selects all fabrics in the store, ranging from burlap to silk, to ensure quality.

When she’s not at the store Marjorie is also co-owner of Manta-Ray, Inc. in West Unity, OH, a plastic injection molding company that  produces their own proprietary products and she functions as VP/CFO for the company.  In her "spare time" she enjoys sewing, crochet, tatting, decorative painting, and crafting wire-wrapped jewelry (you can see an assortment of her beautiful wire-wrapped pendants on display at the store).  And she has waaaaay too much fun with Photoshop.   In past years she raised and exhibited registered American Saddlebred Horses, showing in the Ohio/Michigan/Indiana show circuit.  Her favorite mount, "Sandalwood's Silhouette", was twice qualified for William Shatner's American Saddlebred Western Pleasure Finals in St. Louis.  She and hubby Bill (W.H.) share their home in Bryan with a 12-year old Ragdoll cat, Miss Kitty.
